These Terms and Conditions apply to the Gojuon application (hereinafter referred to as the "Application") created for mobile devices by Jyuuroku (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider"), which is a Freemium service.
Once you download or use the Application, you automatically agree to the following terms. It is strongly recommended that you read and understand these terms carefully before using the Application. Unauthorized reproduction, modification of the App, any part of the App or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to extract the source code of the App, translate the App into other languages or create derivative versions is not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights and other intellectual property rights related to the App belong to the Service Provider.
The Service Provider is committed to ensuring that the App is as beneficial and efficient as possible. Therefore, they reserve the right to modify the App or charge for their services at any time and for any reason. The Service Provider assures you that any charges for the App or its services will be made clear to you.
The App stores and processes personal data that you provide to the Service Provider in order to provide the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your phone and access to the App. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, which involves removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of the device. Such actions may expose your phone to malware, viruses, malicious programs, compromise the security features of your phone, and may cause the application to function improperly or not function at all.
Please note that the service provider is not responsible for certain aspects. Some features of the application require an active internet connection, either Wi-Fi or a connection provided by your mobile network provider. The service provider is not responsible if the application does not function fully due to lack of access to Wi-Fi or because you have exhausted your data plan.
If you use the App in a non-Wi-Fi area, please note that you are still subject to the terms of agreement of your mobile network provider. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for data usage or third-party charges while connected to the App. By using the App, you are responsible for any charges you incur, including roaming data charges when using the App outside your home region (i.e. region or country) without disabling data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you use the App, we assume that you have the permission of the bill payer.
Similarly, the Service Provider cannot always be responsible for the way you use the App. For example, it is your responsibility to ensure that your device remains charged. The Service Provider is not responsible if your device battery runs out and you are unable to access the Service.
Regarding the Service Provider's liability for your use of the Application, please note that while they strive to ensure that the Application is always kept up to date and accurate, they rely on third parties to provide information for your use. The Service Provider is not responsible for any direct or indirect losses resulting from your reliance on the functionality of the Application.
The Service Provider may wish to update the Application at some point. The Application is currently provided based on the operating system requirements (and any other systems they decide to extend the availability of the Application), which may change and you will need to download updates if you wish to continue to use the Application. The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will always be updated to ensure that it is relevant to you and/or compatible with the specific operating system version installed on your device. However, you agree to always accept updates to the Application when they are made available to you. The Service Provider may also wish to stop providing the Application and may terminate its use at any time without providing you with notice of termination. Unless they notify you otherwise, upon termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms will terminate; and (b) you must cease using the App and, if necessary, delete it from your device.
The Service Provider may periodically update its Terms and Conditions. Therefore, you are advised to check this page periodically for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
These Terms and Conditions are effective from April 19, 2025.
