This Privacy Policy applies to the Gojuon application (hereinafter referred to as the "Application") created for mobile devices by Jyuuroku (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider"), which is a Freemium Service. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis for use by Users.
Information Collection and Use
When you download and use the application, the application will collect information. This information may include the following:
- The Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address) of your device
- The pages of the application you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages
- The total time spent on the application
- The operating system you use on your mobile device
The application does not collect information about the precise location of your mobile device.
The service provider may use the information you provide to contact you periodically to provide important information, necessary notifications, and marketing promotions.
In order to provide a better experience, when using the Application, the Service Provider may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to [email protected]. The information requested by the Service Provider will be retained by it and used as described in this Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Access
Aggregated, anonymous data is only transmitted to external services on a regular basis to help the Service Provider improve the Application and its services. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the manner described in this Privacy Statement.
Service providers may disclose user-provided and automatically collected information:
- As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
- When it believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect its rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- With its trusted service providers who work on its behalf, do not independently use the information we disclose to them, and agree to abide by the rules set forth in this Privacy Statement.
Right to opt-out
You can easily stop the collection of all information by the App by uninstalling the App. You can use the standard uninstall procedures provided by your mobile device, or uninstall through the mobile application market or the network.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain the User Provided Data during your use of the App and for a reasonable period thereafter. If you would like the Service Provider to delete the User Data that you have provided through the App, please contact them at [email protected] and they will respond within a reasonable period of time.
Children
Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13 through the App.
Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the App and/or Services. Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor children's Internet use and to help enforce this Policy by instructing children not to provide personally identifiable information through the App and/or Services without permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided Service Provider with personally identifiable information through the App and/or Services, please contact Service Provider at [email protected] so that they can take necessary action. You must be at least 16 years old to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries, we may allow your parents or a parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about protecting the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information it processes and maintains.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to check this Privacy Policy regularly to learn of any changes. Continued use will be deemed as consent to all changes.
This Privacy Policy will be effective from April 19, 2025.
